#3110 Bai Hao Yin Zhen
Bai Hao Yin Zhen (“silver needles”) is a famous white tea, which we find in the heart of Fujian white tea country, in the town of Fuding. Harvested only in the month of March and made from just the buds, this white tea is rather special.
In practice, there are two ways to process white buds. The first way is the standard in the white tea region of Fuding, where the fresh buds are spread to dry in the sun and then the drying is finished by machine with a little bit of heat. This method preserves the freshness of the tea for a longer time. The other method is more prevalent in the white tea area of Zhenghe, where the buds are dried in the sun for a longer period of time before finishing the drying process indoors. Our Bai Hao Yin Zhen is processed in the Fuding way to preserve the vibrant flavor for much longer.
We love the gentle, subtle flavor and freshness of this tea.
#3356 Bai Mu Dan
Bai Mu Dan (“white peony”) is a well-known white tea from Fujian produced from the bud and first several leaves of the shoot. Harvested during the spring months of April and May, our Bai Mu Dan captures the southeastern Chinese sunshine for delivery worldwide.
#3200 White Tea Cake
While tea bricks and cakes have a long history in China, very few producers have explored using white tea as a starting material. In the past several years, these white tea cakes are becoming quite popular among avid tea drinkers and collectors in China and elsewhere. Created from Bai Mu Dan white tea prepared in the Zhenghe way (extensively sun-dried), this tea will improve in flavor over time.
